Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage can be tailored to your goals—whether you’re looking for relaxation, pain relief, reduced swelling, or help preparing your body for birth.
During pregnancy, the hips and low back are important areas to address. In the second half of pregnancy, I also find great benefit in working with the abdomen and the muscular attachments along the iliac crest and lower ribs. This can help create more space for the ribcage, making breathing easier and supporting more comfortable posture.
For your comfort, I use the Body Cushion support system, which allows you to relax comfortably in a side-lying position throughout your session.
Pregnancy, TMJ & Headaches
I also work with many pregnant clients experiencing jaw pain, headaches, and neck tension. Changes in posture, breathing, sleep, and muscle tension during pregnancy can all contribute to these symptoms. My structural massage approach can address the muscular side of these problems while keeping your pregnancy and comfort in mind.
I've created several videos to help you understand my approach to prenatal massage, including “Pregnancy, TMJ, and Headaches: How to Reduce Pain Naturally.” Watch the videos below to learn more about how I approach prenatal massage.
